Cheapest way is to get an old laptop loads for sale on EBay
Try Compaq armada M700 as a search on eBay and you will see what I mean.
Picked my 700 up for under £10 and its a dedicated machine just for the
victron. The Victron interface costs 4 times what I paid for the laptop.
BTW I have just had loads of fun trying to sort a G4 Ibook with a logic
board fault, ended up flogging it on ebay for £90 and it still didn't work
without a G clamp
