You can see a boat being horsedrawn down the Rochdale Canal from Chadderton to Manchester on Thursday and down the Rochdale Nine to Castlefield on Friday, if anyone is around with their camera. -- Martin Clark And I assume that, as at Crick earlier this summer, BW will ensure that there is good publicity - a horseboat in a new area makes a good local news item, and BW do seem to be making good mileage out of the heritage aspect - and the fact that horses are more cuddly than diesels!
