There are some unusual boats about of recent build. Sticking in my memory is a rather angular wide-beam boat (Arc Nouveau?) on the Thames near Hampton, which could have been designed by le Corbusier, with a cubist-style paint job in bright colours. Also near Kingston were two large wide-beam boats in primer grey, which looked as if their designer was influenced by a Stealth bomber. Very strange to look at, in the uniform colour scheme it was hard to see what the true lines were.
