I would post it under "General Boating" which is a good catch-all, and is the most frequently chosen section to post topics to. A recent thread about a newly-built house alongside the Lancaster can be found here: http://www.canalworld.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=24722 The poster writes that there are four signs along the offside asking boaters not to moor opposite and apparently there were No Mooring signs on the towpath side until BW asked the house owner to take them down. Because there are so many sections to the forum, I always click on "Read new posts since last visit" but some people don't seem to do that. I tested this by posting similar newsy items on different occasions, once under "General Boating" and on another occasion under "Waterways News". The first had far more "hits" than the second. -- Martin Clark Pennine Waterways Website http://www.penninewaterways.co.uk
