I have to agree with Brian. Up here we have the The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and they wield enormous power and can be quite draconian in their interpretation of things like planning law etc. If one could harness their powers on your side it would be great, but if they happen to oppose you then they win every time. Also, the executives and managers are paid quite well, certainly more (up here) than some senior councillors etc so the impact on the wage bill could be high..........whether it could be higher than the execs in BW I wouldn't really know and couldn't possibly comment ;-))) Roger
