Thanks everyone for your advice. I rummaged in the garage till I found a
small clean paint brush. I plugged in the Dyson and I set to work. After
disturbing several layers of dust with the bush and hoovering them from
outside the case, I became impatient and gently inserted the nose of the
dyson into the bottom of the case. That was much quicker!
I brushed and hoovered some more then got really brave (or foolhardy) and
using the dyson brush gently went over some cards and cables.
There is still some dust in there but not nearly a much as there was and I
will put the side of the case on when I switch it off tonight.
I wanted to leave it off in case the PC didn't boot up and I needed to
"fiddle" with things.
Mind you, that is how I got into this position in the first place, leaving
the side off just in case :-)
