Our marina (hire, share and privates) are not too happy that the BW stoppages either side along the canal give us a whole 4 miles of cruising from Nov to Christmas. No chance to getting to the Shroppie for a late Hol.if it reopens and BW (as promised) keep it open until Christmas.

Might be worth a call to check for those who fancy a dash to the end and back. I also see that all the Coventry Canal stoppages at Atherstone, which run Jan-March say it will be open on 6th & 7th February 2010. Is there some significant event there that I've not heard about?
