Adrian I tend to agree with you most petitions do little as they are produced after officials have made up their minds and published what they want to do. This one has got three things going for it:-
People can change their mind and no one, outside the treasury, will know. It has got into the top 200 all time petitions on the number 10 website in a week and if it carries on at this rate could well get into the top 100.
