After spending some time collecting info while acting as a newcomer/vanguard, I've now turned most of my notes into wiki pages.
I've created https://wiki.canonical.com/UbuntuEngineering/CI/Newcomer and realized after the fact that some info may already be present in other pages. Please fix any redundancy you know about or may find to turn this page into a more useful starting one for the next newcomer ;) I've updated https://wiki.canonical.com/UbuntuEngineering/CI/Playbook and https://wiki.canonical.com/UbuntuEngineering/CI/Playbook/UpstreamMerger with more notes. We probably want to restructure them along the way but this is a start.
