For some reason removing Adobe Flash in the software center then
reinstalling it in the software center fixed the problem. Thanks Jeremy.

fyi. Before removing and reinstalling it, I went back into Mozilla
Firefox Tools, Add-ons and the Plug-ins tab. I clicked on the Find
Updates tab and it opened a window to https://www.mozilla.org/en-
US/plugincheck/. In this window it said that Adobe Flash had been
removed for my safety. More accurately it should have said my
inconvenience. Now it says that "Shockwave Flash" is an installed plug-
in. Just a little info in case someone with Ubuntu wants to provide some
feedback to someone at Mozilla. Thanks again.
