This bug affects also me. I am using 64bit Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, all updates done frequently. Using Adobe Reader 9.5.5 (04/26/2013). At address http://get.adobe.com/reader/ it seems, that no newer version of Adobe Reader for GNU/Linux.
