Disabling xvideo does fix things, but c10 from that linked freedesktop bug seems like the most appropriate solution (2c4890001 from xf86-video- intel https://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video- intel/commit/?id=2c4890001). I will see if I can build this in a PPA to test.
