Hi list, I observed a couple of error messages as mentioned below while installing Capture-HPC.
1. Error: "*VIX Error on reverting to snapshot: The system returned an error. Communication with the virtual machine may have been interrupted*" Solution: *Take a snapshot.* It is written in the Readme-HPC.txt (file section 5. Post Installation) 2. Error: *VIX Error on login: Insufficient permissions in guest operating system E Disconnected VMware error -1 VMSetState: ERROR* Solution: One may be getting this error because redistributable libraries are not installed. Note: Even after installing Visual C++ redistributable libraries, I used to get similar error messages. One can check Event Viewer ->system section for more information about the error.
