Right, started capture in a VM, giving the log path as a command arg.
Then I opened internet explorer and went to mozilla.com to download
firefox. Mid-download capture client crashes with the standard windows
crash dialog (the send / don't send report), no blue screen.

me to trigger a crash is to go and download firefox. Typically
capture will crash mid-download (perhaps this has something to do
with an overload of file write messages to the log file??). The
specific exception shows up in visual studio as:

0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0490d000.
I don't know how much help this would be since I'm running the
release version. Would appreciate any help with this!
