Nope, just "-l" for the log file. Any idea of when 2.5 will make a public release?

One more question: did you have the option "-c" or "-n" set?

Right, started capture in a VM, giving the log path as a command
arg. Then I opened internet explorer and went to mozilla.com
<http://mozilla.com> to download firefox. Mid-download capture
client crashes with the standard windows crash dialog (the send /
don't send report), no blue screen.

So you start capture in standalong
then you open a browser and download the firefox exe
then the client crashes? Is it a blue screen?

           Hi Christain,

Thanks for your quick response! I'm currently using version
2.1.0-300 of the client in stand-alone mode. The easiest
        way for
me to trigger a crash is to go and download firefox. Typically
capture will crash mid-download (perhaps this has something
        to do
with an overload of file write messages to the log file??).
         The
specific exception shows up in visual studio as:

Unhandled exception at 0x78144580 in CaptureClient.exe:
0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0490d000.

I don't know how much help this would be since I'm running the
release version. Would appreciate any help with this!

Steve, I am just testing the 2.5 version of Capture,
        which has
a bunch of bug fixes that address stability. Are you
        using the
client in stand-alone mode or in conjunction with the
        capture
server. What version are you using?

Could you describe the issue you are experiencing in more
detail, I would be able to take a look.

                  Hi,

Our company is considering using capture-client to
        compliment a
commercial product that we are developing.
         Unfortunately the
client seems to crash quite often, especially when
        downloading
files such as Mozilla or Thunderbird. Is this something
               that will
be fixed or is there a workaround for this? Capture is
               installed
                  using the default settings.  Thanks!!

                  Best Regards,
