I unistalled the fink text packages and installed MacTeX and skim.
And use Carbon Emacs.
Right out of the box without ECE Carbon Emacs uses skim for previewing,
but when I install ECE and activate it in ~/emacs it only does pdf  
preview with the osx pdf previewer
and dvi preview does not work any more. it seems to be unable to find  
skim.
how can I change the command for the dvi previewer in ECE to make it  
use skim?
