I meant to do it in Terminal. But since your customisation has been
saved this test is not necessary. It's just of educational reasons,
curiosity, to try it.
The term "launching" is related to Apple's "Launching Service" in Mac
OS X. Actually the described way to invoke Emacs from command line
avoids Launch Service, which enables you to have more than one Emacs
running. Again, this might be merely a curiosity. The important
aspect is that this is the only way to invoke Emacs with arguments, --
help for example, --debug-init, -Q, etc.
