Hello, yes I agree too.
I have a VfW (LC1 framegrabber card) device installed on my machine. Please give it a try. (I am not here tomorrow, so may be my comments will delay until next week) > The idea is that of a client application that can login to care2x and > then identify a patient and then on the press of a button grab an image > from the video stream and send it to the specified patient folder. Possibly the images gets a standard name, to recognize already from the name what it is. May be it will be stored in a folder associated with the patient and actual date in the local file system. I would not store the images (i.e. as blob-files) directly in the database because A. the size of the database will increase significantly B.images cannot be handled independentla from the database. (Dicom imaging for all kinds of images would be nice in the future) Greetings Alex ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kurt Brauchli" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 3:27 PM Subject: Re: [Care2002-developers] digital camera > Hello > > I absolutely aggree that VfW is an obsolete standard.
