They have security risks. Only jabber as free Open Source server provides you with ssl and pgp or gpg conections. We did a setup here but it was not so popular for developers as expected. At the new care2x server i set up jabber2 what provides 30 % more functionality than the old one. Anyways for jabber users independant which server they use i set up today a demo for smartphone, pda, mobile phone. The demo is available only for registered users because of missuse it. Some information with unrestricted access is available here (including screenshots): http://care2x.de/Jabber_Communication.449.0.html The installation into care2x needs five minutes. -- Mit freundlichen Grüssen Wilfried Goedert mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Sleepycat Software Learn developer strategies Cisco, Motorola, Ericsson & Lucent use to deliver higher performing products faster, at low TCO. http://www.sleepycat.com/telcomwpreg.php?From=osdnemail3 _______________________________________________ Care2002-developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/care2002-developers
