Elpidio, you are right.
But there are national specialities of ICD in the different countries. So we in Germany, we have several different versions of ICD, according to medical specialities. See http://www.dimdi.de/de/klassi/diagnosen/icdverz/icdv-glied.htm The version do not differ in the Codes, but have some additional information or some info left out.... For public Health services we use : http://www.dimdi.de/de/klassi/diagnosen/icd10/icdsgbv13.htm SGB-V Ausgabe (so called "Minmalstandard"). This one has additional Codes for Laterality: R - rechts L - links B - beiderseits and Qualifiers: V - Verdachtsdiagnose bzw. auszuschließende Diagnose Z - (symptomloser) Zustand nach der betreffenden Diagnose A - ausgeschlossene Diagnose Alex ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elpidio Latorilla" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, June 22, 2004 3:12 AM Subject: Re: [Care2002-developers] DRG in latain? A.20) means the same all throughout the whole world no matter what language it is translated. Please correct me if I am wrong.
