Dear care2x team
The ottawa hospital has issued an RFP for a SIMS (surgical Information Management System).
I'mtrying to pitch the Open Source (care2x) approach.
Our main rival seems to be Meditech.
I'm in process of putting together the response and need some technical support.
The care2x wiki is down and due date for the RFP is June 27.
The major issues are:
- integration with the siemens SMS
- HL7
- training
I'd alos like to know:
- list of hospitals in production
- implementation plan
Canada is putting a tremendous effort into building a modern HIS
I truely believe that opening the North American market to care2x will contribute immmensly to the care2x system.
