According to your point no. 1: I think there is the need of an extremely
flexible admission module. Some data are always needed and also like Godfrey
mentioned some hospitals over this world are not interested into some
demographic data what they cannot use. But on the other hand we cannot think
such complex like the real world is, e.g. in Tanzania there is a Balozi (a
man who knows him or others) and tribes, on Salomon Islands they might not
having tribes, but they having islands. In Brazil there would be also
different requirements as like in Asia (I do not know).
The idea we had was to minimize the mandatory fields to an absolute minimum
and give them a possibility to add some own fields. But we have to think
that these dynamic fields should be visible to each other module and that is
dynamic work. Since now we can just show the data what is prepared in the
database, not more but less. That makes it complex.
Godfrey, do you have the database scheme by your hand? Then you could
publish it here that we could show others how we discussed that November
last year.

Right all your observations
1- think for the admission module, can be done a label customization, the
fields onthe table are enought,
each installer can decide the label of the textbox, is an idea
2- The billing module, will be fine if group all the voices of an admission
or day hospital, at least like internal cost analisys
3- There is someone thet have built a reporting system, if it work, i will
implement on the next release

Hi Claudio,
I suggest
1-a flexible user interface where people can add and remove input
boxes on the input forms. different hospitals have different input
forms requirements. For example, here in Tanzania, we don't have zip
codes and Nr's. But we do have P.O.Box and require tribes and have
some other id's too.
4 - as for the costs module, i suggest there be a billing module, that
can calculate costs for registration and pharmacy atleast, you can
also include billing for wards.
11 - I suggest a reporting module, that can report how many patients
got registered , in a week a month a year, etc, and other important
reports.
