You might want to integrate Care2X functionality into FrontAccountingERP where
extension design is modular.

Sorry I don't not what you mean

Although the process for attending patients, is basically the same, the way we
entering the laboratory data differs considerably.
Most hospitals in Argentina are charitable (free and open), in my work
entered between 150 and 200 patients each day orders, with 15 and 30 per order
analysis,
although some can reach 500 to 1000 or more orders daily.
Because most hospitals are not computerized, the LIS (Laboratory Information
System) in their majority are not connected to the rest of the hospital.
It is in the laboratory where the patient is admitted, the requesting
physician, place of
origin, medical service that comes, location if inpatient, possible
diagnosis, pathology,
symptoms or syndromes, etc, etc. and then the analyzes requested.
Often laboratory must first log into the system and assign many physicians,
assign patients the clinical history number providing by the physician, to thus
be able to perform the monitoring of these patients.
So on for each laboratory orders.
The current design is inappropriate for such use. It is advisable to do so
from one or two screens with several tabs (as we do with closed or proprietary
LIS).
With regard to the billing, being most charitable hospitals, it is not
necessary
pay anything, so at this stage we can skip the authorization.
I do not want to dwell now talking about billing of analyzes made, but in my
opinion should be a complement or submodule of laboratory and provide
sufficient modularity to each hospital or health institution you use.
Billing mode will depend if collected before or after performing the analysis
and
if you charge the cost to patient or others (an organization).
The way the results are enter to different database tables differ much.
Also the validation of patient data and the overall operation is much more
complex.
The laboratory design is not very modular, the tables are created in some
other place,
there is no a menu with own laboratory options , etc, etc.
The complexity of the laboratories can vary greatly, microbiology, genetics,
bank
Blood may or may not be inside the lab, then it should be configured from the
laboratory module.
Sorry for the extension, but tried to give a frame of reference to be
understood.
I am at your disposal for any clarification you need.
best regards
---
Alejandro
