This tutorial is not out-of-date, even though there have been many
changes to other aspects of WebCaret.

The WebCaret displays should work as described, except that I see now
that there is an error in the labeling: Scene 9 actually shows the
map for SIGHTED as the default pattern. The map for EARLY BLIND can
be viewed using the pulldown menu in the 'surface coloring layer' for
the 'Metric' row.

In other words, the instructions should say:
Select Scene 9 for a map of vibro-tactile activation in sighted
subjects on the inflated surface.

Select Metric: MFM –BURTON_04_VibroTactile_EARLY BLIND to see that the
activation pattern in lateral occipito-temporal cortex is dramatically
different in sighted vs. early blind subjects

I will email you separately with jpeg illustrations of exactly how to
do this, but will not use the email list to avoid clutter.
