That's fine. You can get an R^2 value out of Caret as well, but I just do
what you are doing because I don't like R^2.

Peace,

Matt.

Hi

Yes, I just want to show how similar the two spatial maps are to one
another. Qualitatively they look similar but I was hoping to have a single
value to show this taking into account that the z-score values at each node.

Right now I have loaded the metric file into Matlab and run a cross
correlation with the all of the node values for each map. I just am
uncertain if this is the best way.

Thanks again,

Matt

What are you trying to show with this similarity index? Do you want a score
saying how correlated two maps are, or something more? More details about
what you are doing would help us to best answer your question.

Subject: [caret-users] Similarity Index

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has ever attempted calculating a similarity index
to compare different functional overlays on a voxel by voxel (node by node)
basis in CARET.
The option I was going to attempt involved importing the metric to Matlab
but was wondering if there was an easier way within CARET.

Thank you for any advice or comments,

-Matt
