Huh? I'm not familiar with FLIRT-CBLM-MASK.nii.gz, but based on the
name, I'm guessing it's more likely to be in avg152 space than 711-2C.

Your fcMRI is likely to be in 711-2*, since you're at Wash U. Where did
FLIRT-CBLM-MASK.nii.gz come from? Can you capture the exact error?

No need to start deleting stuff, typically, but admittedly, I tend to
use hem-specific spec files.

Typically all you need for mapping is a volume, fiducial coord (in same
space as volume to be mapped), and topo file. Mapping spec file to atlas
gives you the coord and topo files for free, so all you should need are
the volume to be mapped and a target/visualization spec into which Caret
will insert your output metric entry, so you can view the results. Let
me know if you want me to stop by on the way back from workout (around
1:10pm).
