That's rather annoying that it no longer worked by default!   I wonder why
they changed that.  I would say that any strategies that you come up with,
we should try and take back to them for their 1.3.1 release.  They seem
pretty open to contributions.  I'd rather see that support in Spring LDAP
than in our code if possible.

We've already started doing that with other projects including JaValid which
as of 1.2 will have the code that checks Spring IoC dependencies based on
the JaValid annotations.
