I'd argue Slf4jLoggingAuditTrailManager that's included with Inspektr would be entirely suitable for production use with the addition of a lock around all the logger.info statements. Why not just fix/improve that one and have it included with the library? (I guess it's a little more work to shepherd the changes to inspektr, but you get good karma, right?)
