I will say that there have been many attempts to write a "Getting Started with CAS" pages, and in my opinion most are so narrowly focused that they're as much part of the "spread out over several pages" problem as a solution. I would recommend you strive for generality. Even if it's a narrow focus, there may be information that we can distill into a generalized getting started guide for the new manual. In any case I'd recommend creating a new page.
