I'd like to move this along async on the mailing list if we can. Regarding the LPPE feature thread, can you be more precise about what needs to be tied up? The way I see it is if the code in feature-lppe is suitable for a minor release based on the release strategy it should go out in 3.5. This is what we've been working towards since last fall based on the roadmap. If it is not suitable for a 3.5 release for some reason, it will have to live on somewhere else. There is still work to be done on this, so I think it is too early to tell, but all indications so far is that it would fit in just fine. Regarding the alternate approach that would be more appropriate for a major release, I think that it is just that. I see no blockers for folks picking up the mantle of a major release in parallel if they so choose. Personally, I'm dedicated to the 3.x line for the foreseeable future.
