CAS Community,

Only one week remains to submit a conference proposal by the deadline of March 18. While all proposals are welcome, even last minute ones, the conference planning folks are advising against waiting this year:

"Given the anticipated submissions by the Sakai community, it is likely that we will indeed have a good number of proposals by the deadline and thus MAY NOT have the customary CFP deadline extension. In other words, DON'T PROCRASTINATE!"

Please submit your proposal so we can learn from you at the 2012 Jasig-Sakai annual conference in Atlanta, GA this June 10-15. The
conference is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with your peers in
higher education. What makes the conference so compelling is YOU - your
success stories and your amazing work. You may submit a track
presentation, tech demo, or birds of a feather discussion. We'd love to
hear about:

* Advances in teaching, learning, and research with technology

* Identity and access management

* New developments and features for products like uPortal, Sakai CLE/OAE, CAS, OSP, Bedework, and others

* Exciting and innovative implementations of and integrations with Jasig or Sakai software

* Information security

* Learning analytics

* Advocacy and awareness of open-source solutions
(The 2-3-98 Project)

The annual conference is a global networking point for developers,
faculty, administrators, advocates, support specialists, and others in
the open-source community. Join us in growing community and growing
possibilities!

Sincerely,

Marvin Addison
