I just posted a pull request for CAS-1082: https://github.com/Jasig/cas/pull/71

This is a modest improvement that should help folks keep their maven
overlays a little cleaner. It also provides an easy path to
externalize log4j and cas.properties so that upgrades and cas.war
promotion should go smoother, especially in a multi-node environment.

I'll leave the pull request out there for comment and plan to merge
later this afternoon in time for RC1.

The other remain item I was tracking was CAS-1104 which was completed
and merged, but was re-opened for discussion. This modest improvement
compliments CAS-1082, so I'd vote to just close it.

The remaining items are:
CAS-1112 Remove Berkeley DB Integration Module
CAS-1069 Track Developers in POM Files

I suppose these could be easily pushed out if no one can get to them
before you cut the RC tonight. Unicon doesn't have anyone looking at
these.

Best,
Bill
