.which, deprecated, claims that "Future versions of CAS will provide a mechanism to gain access to standard items from the Request object." Does anyone have any more details on the above said mechanism? Could we simply use DataBinders from Spring? The interface has been deprecated for a while and I want to explore the opportunity to remove it but of course not without providing other alternatives. If the path to alternatives is still unclear, does it make sense to un-deprecate it for now until we have a resolution for other options?
