I think its probably safe at this point to flag for removal.  I think (if I 
recall) the point was to allow you to map Request methods to credentials 
properties if you needed to (i.e. pass the IP address along).  Spring Web 
Flow should support better methods for doing that now.

Does anyone have any more details on the above said mechanism? Could we 
simply use DataBinders from Spring?



The interface has been deprecated for a while and I want to explore the 
opportunity to remove it but of course not without providing other 
alternatives. If the path to alternatives is still unclear, does it make 
sense to un-deprecate it for now until we have a resolution for other 
options?
