Please consider following the already established format for this project's release tags: "v1.1-RC1" instead of "1.1-RC1". While I prefer the latter, this project is already using the former and the change in release tag format will break automated systems that look for new releases. An example of such a system is Debian's 'uscan' (https://wiki.debian.org/debian/watch) where, for mod_auth_cas, the package maintainer has configured a regular expression that includes the leading 'v': https://sources.debian.net/src/libapache2-mod-auth-cas/1.0.9.1-4/debian/watch/ That said, the regular expression is incorrect since it assumes a path to the automatically-generated tar.gz files to include 'tarballs/' so the package maintainer will need to update the watch file anyway. I assume github changed the URLs at some point. Still, I'd prefer consistency so I ask that you consider using "v1.1-RC1".
