It depends on your level and comfort with CAS and the CAS Clients.

If you're really familiar with Maven2, LDAP, and Spring, you could probably
copy the LDAP template XML and put your values in and rebuild and it would
work pretty quickly.  If you're not familiar, you're probably in for a lot
of trial and error.

"CASifying" web application applications is generally easier if you take the
example configurations and update your application's web.xml (and include
the appropriate jars).  Its not always easier, but its often more
straightforward if you're not familiar with the tools used to build and
maintain CAS.
