Hi everybody, I have hardship to find how to search this forum, only a very few messages appear in this window.
I'm a total newbie to CAS. I'm trying to install CAS 3.3 and 3.2 in a classic Tomcat 6 server. I'm trying to make it through the app manager. Tomcat works, on the 8080 port, I can access JSP examples, i'm behind a https apache server with a mod-jk connector. When I make mvn install in the webapp repository, build is successful with both versions of CAS, but when I try to deploy it, nothing happens (the CAS repository is created by tomcat in the /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps repository but Tomcat says the app is not available. I've also tried to deploy it by stopping tomcat and copying the cas.war file in the /var/lib/tomcat6/webapps repository. The file is deploying, but the cas app can't be started, I don't know where to find errors logs, I just got the message "ECHEC - L'application pour le chemin de contexte /cas n'a pas pu???tred???marr???e" wich means : "the /cas context application couldn't start". Can you tell me where to look to find what is wrong? I found a problem about cas 3.3 and Tomcat 6 incompatibility wich deals with JAVA_OPTS and special quotes, can it be related to my problem?
