Hi everyone, I am trying to CASify a Sharepoint 2007 installation, and I did try to follow these directions from The open source edu.yale.som.auth .NET solution at http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=13569711. As a side note, we already have BlackBoard working with CAS...
The login screen has three types of login authentication: Form Based (FBA), CAS, LDAP But unfortunately one out of three features from the login screen are working and I am stuck. 1. FBA - Works the FBA for local Database works, I get challenge and enter user credential and pw -> Sharepoint! 2. CAS Authentication - does not work, I get challenge, and get get redirected to CAS, login at CAS and then I get redirected back to the original login screen, but this time w/o the links to authenticate -> no Sharepoint site. I also know that the CAS authetication piece works, because I can login into our Dev BlackBoard system after supplying the user/pw credenctials. 3. LDAP - does not work, I get challenge, login with LDAP credential and I get the same result as step #2 -> no Sharepoint site. I know that LDAP challenge works, because if I enter wrong password more than three times, my LDAP account get locked out. If I login with proper user/pw, I get same result as step #2. I've been looking and looking I am wasn't able to find any solution, so, I was wondering if any of you happened to have implemented CAS + Sharepoint 2007 or have a functioning config files I can poach off :) My System: Windows OS 2003, MS SQL2005, MS VS2008, Exchange 2007(sp1) installed on one server.
