Bummer...that's not the answer I wanted :-) Well, I guess I'll have to wait
then...thanks anyway

The CAS piece will work without uPortal 3.2.0-SNAPSHOT but the build of the
uPortal piece REQUIRES it for now. You can always remove the uPortal module
and its entry in the parent pom file in order to build. But again, this
release is dependent on a number of items out of my control (well, CAS Client
3.1.9 is in my control, but uPortal isn't :-)).

We have a ticket into the uPortal team for adding the appropriate CAS Client
support into uPortal 3.1.x and 3.2. I don't have an ETA on when it will be
resolved.

Cheers,
Scott

LOL...hmm...that didn't work either...it failed on the uportal.version ...I
noticed that the uportal.version is 3.2.0-SNAPSHOT I tried changing the
uportal.version, cas.version and cas.client.version to match my uportal 3.1.1
pom.xml settings and it blew up :) ...it is possible to make this work for
uportal 3.1.1 or is this only for 3.2.x?

Yeah I saw that :-) ...ok when I try to build it locally, I get another maven
dependency error because it can't get the
org.jasig.cas:cas-client-core:jar:3.1.9-SNAPSHOT artifact...can you tell me
anything about that one? Is that available anywhere?

There are two options :-) You can either switch the dependency to 3.1.8 or you
can build the CAS Client also :-) Its probably easier to just switch to 3.1.8.
3.1.9 isn't out yet. Its mostly waiting for testing also. *sigh*

Scott

The wiki says you're also looking at documentation for something that hasn't
been released yet :-) I don't believe there is anything holding up the release
other than possibly if some people would be willing to test the new changes.

The uPortal piece won't be ready until the patches are applied to uPortal (ah,
dependencies ;-))

For the moment, you'd have to build the JAR locally. Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Scott

Anyone know the location of the cas clearpass extension? The wiki says that it
is available in the maven repo at http://developer.ja-sig.org/maven2/ but I
just checked and couldn't find it. Did it get moved or is the wiki wrong and I
have to download from subversion and build locally?
