Brian-

Use the directions in README.Win32 for compiling on Windows. I had significant
difficulties finding a good apxs to use on Windows that successfully picked up
the OpenSSL dependencies.

Also -- if you have the opportunity, please try compiling the code in
branches/curl. I have not compiled this branch on Windows yet, but this branch
is the future of mod_auth_cas. It replaces the internal HTTP handling with use
of libcurl, which simplifies and strengthens the code, but introduces a new
dependency on cURL.

If you do have a chance to try this and are successful, please let me know.

Subject: [cas-user] mod_auth_cas questions

Please forgive my ignorance on this topic.

I am trying to install mod_auth_cas on a Windows server running apache.

The wiki page https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASC/mod_auth_cas describes using
APXS to compile and install mod_auth_cas.c as a DSO. When I go to
https://www.ja-sig.org/svn/cas-clients/mod_auth_cas/tags/ to get the source I
opened the readme. The readme discusses Visual Studio and creating a DLL.

Which instructions am I supposed to follow? Either? Both?

Thanks,

Bryan Wooten
