Hi Malar, We've actually implemented this solution. As an interim step we used the Microsoft provided SSO solution with some modifications and simply CASified their SSO solution. So the workflow is that a student goes to the SSO to Live@EDU, it knows the user isn't logged into CAS and redirects them to CAS. Once they successfully log into CAS, they are redirected back to the Microsoft SSO code, it grabs the users UID/Principal looks up their email address in Active Directory, or in a SQL DB, plugs this into the Microsoft SSO code and redirects them off to Live@EDU.
We are currently investigating a straight SAML 2.0 solution, but I believe it's not fully implemented by MS yet for Live@EDU.
