I'd like to probe the premise that lead to this architecture. Typically for an enterprise, there's a single logical CAS installation (commonly clustered, but still a single logical CAS server). For a very large enterprise that's spread out geographically, multiple CAS instances begin to make sense. What factors led to your present architecture?
