Maybe a silly question, how do I download the latest recommended stable release and import it to Eclipse?
Depends whether you want to review CAS source or work on an overlay. If the former, then an eclipse project is included in the source and you can simply import the project into eclipse. If an overlay, the CAS version is commonly referenced with a single POM property, which you would increment as needed. Maybe an example will help:
