It would be very odd for a search to return one result yesterday and another today. What directory is this?
I will speak with the ldap administrator to see we can find anything in the logs.
Sounds good. The logs produced by OpenLDAP, for example, are very helpful in providing insight into problems like these.
It's rather strange because this is only happening to a handful of users not everyone.
