Rick,

So, up a few levels of abstraction.

You need to use a version of cas-addons that's compatible with the version
of cas-server-webapp you're building on.

So, what version of cas-server-webapp are you overlaying upon and what
version of cas-addons are you depending upon?

(And then if you say anything other than the latest version of each, of
course, I'm going to suggest using the latest versions. :) )
