Belandran, Not sure I understand your question. CAS has no support for federations as such. See instead Shibboleth IdP. CAS does have a wee bit of SAML support, enough for adhoc SAML login to things like Google Apps, as Misagh linked.
I'm not aware of any federations of CAS servers or usages of CAS to e.g. participate in SAML federations like InCommon. I'd be very surprised to learn of such a thing.
