Hi,

If you explictely call the logout, the remember-me is deleted.

The original sentence is: "A security policy that requires that long term
authentication sessions MUST NOT be terminated prior to their natural
expiration would mandate a ticket registry component that provides for
durable storage."
You need a persistent storage for long term authentication (ticket). Memory
is not unlimited.

While a regular authentication lasts a couples minutes or a few hours, it
ends when you close your browser. The remember-me is meant to live a few
days or weeks or even months, even if you have closed and reopened your
browser.
