What do you need the ID for?  Check the documentation for the client lilbrary you are using (I'm assumings either MOD_CAS or AuthCAS) to see where/if they store the username somewhere.  That should give you a hint of how to retrieve it.

Hi

I have a plain html application running under apache. I have protected
the directory where the application resides using CAS, but now, i would
like to be able to retrieve userid used to login from the html page. As
html is static, I guess I would need to have some server-side scripting
to retrieve that information? What's the easiest way?

Best regards
