Scott, thank you very much for the reply. Just to make sure I understand: My use case doesn't actually involve any applications. I was thinking about the case where the user goes directly to the CAS login page: https://yourhost:8443/cas/login
Upon successful login the casGenericSuccess view is shown by the CAS server web application. It seems natural on that page to show the login of the authenticated user.
