We are currently testing Bristol blackboard-cas version 1.2 (dated 2004). We are running Blackboard 7.3.230.0 over ssl. Last Wednesday, we were unable to access the test server due to a "Redirect Loop." The next day we were able to login to the test server using CAS. We stop the server each night for a couple hours to do backups. It must have *fixed* itself on the restart. Not sure. Anyway, I've done some searching today and I find that we are no alone when it comes to issues with infinite redirects. I have not had a chance to read all of the related posts. But the few that I have read really haven't provided any answers as to why CAS clients get caught in infinite redirects. Has anyone found a resolution?
